District Project 2020
The Remembrance Tree project has been deemed the main District Project across the Island of Ireland for 2020.
This site is to assist clubs to maintain their Tree this year and to assist and encourage other clubs to set up a Tree this year.
There are many iterations of the project across District with each club having their preferred version.
From trees in the main thoroughfare, in shopping centres and hospitals, and online virtual trees, our aim is that most clubs will have a tree this year.
With Covid19 we hope that it will not have an impact on donations, but we have to plan as if it will.
We hope that this site will encourage and assist your club in continuing with / setting up a Remembrance Tree in December.
At the opening of the Cork Remembrance Tree were George Barter, President Cork, Lord and Lady Mayoress, Tanaiste Simon Coveney, George Roche, President Cork Bishopstown.
