The New Normal
In the Covid world we have to hope for the best but plan for the worst.
It is unlikely that the virus will be gone, but we will hope that there will not be a lockdown and that we will continue to have some level of Christmas hustle and bustle.
The first consideration when reimagining our Remembrance Trees has to be SAFETY.
We have a duty of care to our members and volunteers, and of course to the members of the public that come to us.
Our place of collection has to be safe and precautions taken with handling of money, ribbons, markers, etc.
Plastic guards, gloves, face masks, sanitisaton, etc has to be in operation.
We are in the process of examining contactless payments and othetr methods of accepting donations and will post conclusions here.
We will keep this page updated with suggestions and any guidelines that come into effect.
